Dementia Care Specialist:
The Dementia Care Specialist meets with individuals and families to offer them a deeper understanding of dementia and the impact of the disease over time. Other topics that can be discussed include: future planning, action plans to prepare for potential changes, strategies and tools to address changing needs, strategies to address changes in behavior, safety planning, skills for caregivers to help reduce stress, and more.
The Dementia Care Specialist is also available for community awareness and education sessions.
