Provides door-through-door transportation for residents of Marathon County who are 60 & over or developmentally disabled. WOOD COUNTY TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM

The Wood County Elderly and Disabled Transportation program provides rides to persons over the age of 55, and people who have a disability that prevents them from driving. Rides are provided for shopping, to and from medical appointments or to other locations as needed. Bus transportation is provided Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift. Call by noon the day before. Volunteer drivers may be available for longer distance medical appointments and riders must be ambulatory. Service is non-emergency and covers the state of Wisconsin.
