MERRILL ENRICHMENT CENTER (MEC)

The Merrill Enrichment Center offerings focus on an individual’s overall mind & body wellness. Fitness activities include chair yoga, chair strength & balance, regular yoga, Strong Bodies & Zumba. Educational courses, workshops & informational sessions focus on planning for your future, awareness of scams and fraud, cell phone training, and much more! Creative classes include photography, Cricut, painting, sewing, embroidery, arts & crafts and much more. Support groups are also available including Grief support. We have many volunteer opportunities such as our holiday & quilting outreach, and helping with our events. Our craft shop features local artists & crafters works for purchase. Social groups include a guys group, book club, quilt & stitch, ukulele, woodcarving, & embroidery. Games include Mah Jongg, Hand & Foot, Bridge, & Sheephead. . We offer bus trips from April through November. The MEC is open to all and there are no residency requirements. We welcome people of all ages to participate in our activities. However, we ask that children under 13 be supervised.
