Café 60 provides Senior Dining for adults age 60 or older. Café 60 offers balanced nutrition & social opportunities. It is offered in rural Marathon County. With this dining option participants present their Café 60 Coupon at a local participating restaurant any time it is open and choose from a variety of menu choices that are program-approved. Suggested contribution of $4.25 per meal. No eligible person is excluded if unable to contribute, however contributions are a very necessary part of the budget. Participating restaurants include: Athens Country Café, Korner Kitchen, Severt’s Fine Foods.

Delivers nutritious meals and offers a well-check to persons who are 1) age 60 or older, 2) confined to their home because of illness or disability, and 3) unable to prepare their own meals. Staff complete an in-home assessment. Hot meals are generally delivered M-F. Some rural areas may have frozen meals delivered once weekly. There may be a waiting list. Suggested contribution of $4.25. No eligible person is excluded if unable to contribute, however contributions are a very necessary part of the budget.

The Nutrition and Diabetes Services team consists of Registered Dietitians and Registered Nurses that will provide an individualized assessment and treatment plan.
